Major Events Sponsorship Program 2010

Council's Major Events Sponsorship Program recognises the importance of events to the economic development of the region.

The aim of the program is to grow the value of the events industry across the Sunshine Coast and to enhance the profile of the Sunshine Coast as a major events destination.

Round one 2010

Round one of council's 2010 Major Event Sponsorship Program for events of economic significance (Tourism events) closes on Friday 12 March 2010. Round one is designed to cover events that will be staged from 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2010 and are conducted in the central region of the Sunshine Coast. Major events to be staged in the northern and southern regions of the Sunshine Coast should apply to Tourism Noosa or Caloundra Tourism.

Application forms will be available here shortly.

Those who apply for grants during round one will be notified of the sponsorship funding outcomes in May/June 2010.
